One word:- it’s a gorgeous place!
This one’s located at the tip of the Address; facing the Burj & thé Dancing Fountains. If you’re driving to it, park at the Address (valet) walk to the pool at the end of the pool side there’s a lift that takes you to it; if you’re in the downtown area, burj park, dubai mall, souk al bahar, the restaurant has a easy access door on the same level as the fountains. I can’t make it any simpler.
Now about the restaurant itself, this one is a chain of restaurant that originally hails Spain this is their first branch in Dubai and they have one in Abu Dhabi as well.
The restaurant has a bar, a private dining room, indoor and outdoor seating arena both of them are they pretty and do give you views of the Burj and the dancing fountains.
Like all other restaurants this year this one too it’s business as usual for the month of Ramadan but also is offering a very nicely curated set menu for iftar, which we reviewed and I have attached images and small videos for you to be able to see the amazing food that we sampled and to book it while the menu class which is just another week for now.
We started off with some dates and then came the tuna followed by the most delicious version of miso soup I have ever had and I would like to add here that I am not a miso soup person but this one was really really nice the truffle foam did the trick for me. When you have been fasting you surely want to start off with something not very strong in flavor yet right comforting to the tuna was the not very strong in flavor element and the soup was the comfort element for me.
The next course of this very very interesting it was the king crab augartine and this was warm and delicious I’ve never had something like this before. Followed by salmon & wagyu nigiri & also Matsuri roll, these were with a hint of jalapeño 😋😋😋.
Then came the star of show “quail egg nigri” sunny side up fried quail egg nigiri, how cool ?!
For the mains or last course it was a grilled chicken, It was on a bed of delicious rice.
We had a mocktail each with the meal.
Ended the meal with a dessert & a coffee.
The dessert was delicious I solemnly enjoyed it and another appreciable thing was the size of the coffee cups! I am always happy with restaurants that serve them large.
Overhaul it was a pleasant dining experience and it is recommended, they do business lunches and special set menus on Friday.
Great Japanese Restaurant with a wide selection of classic and exotic Japanese dishes. We really enjoyed each dish. The Wagyu Nigiri and one of the warm Makis its a must try. The Spicy tuna tuna tartar was flavored softly with different spicies, could be a bit more spicy for me, but still great as it has been servedLet it mix for you from the waiter when its served. Tastes really best that way. Dont be afraid to try out diffrrrnt stuff which you dont know. We were very surprised how some dishes were prepared. Try to get a seat outside were you have a view to the Burj Khalifa. Always refreshing to see the different light shows.
The atmosphere is beautiful and the place is great. The best part is Dani in the Terraces. He is very helpful, professional at work and has a fun face.
The Wagyu steak is out of this world .. try the a5 Kobe Wagyu steak and it’s on spot .. not a single mistake ❤️
Nice ambience and staff, however for the price, the food is not that wow!
